Ingredients
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted, and diced
- 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 1/2 cups Tampico Mango Punch Buy Now
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 cup black tapioca pearls (boba)
- Water for boiling boba
- Honey or simple syrup (for sweetening boba)
- 2 cups strong black tea, cooled (you can use your favorite black tea or black tea bags)
- Ice cubes
Directions
- In a blender, combine diced mangoes, sugar, water, mango nectar (or juice), and ice cubes.
- Blend until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little more water.
- Taste the mango fruit punch mixture and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if needed. If you like, add lime juice for a touch of acidity. Blend again to combine.
- Cook the tapioca pearls according to the package instructions. Typically, this involves boiling the pearls for a certain amount of time, then letting them sit in hot water to finish cooking. Rinse the cooked boba under cold water and let them cool.
- Sweeten the boba by tossing them in honey or simple syrup while they are still warm.
- In serving glasses, add a handful of ice cubes.
- Pour the cooled black tea over the ice, leaving room at the top for the mango fruit punch.
- Add sweetened boba pearls on top of the tea.
- Pour the prepared mango fruit punch over the tea and boba until the glass is almost full.
- Optionally, stir gently to combine the flavors.
- Use a wide straw to enjoy your mango bubble tea!
